At Deep South 3D Printing, we aim to provide high-quality products and services. To ensure fairness to both our customers and our business, our policy is aligned with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT Act).

1. RETURN WINDOW & CONDITIONS

In accordance with the ECT Act, we offer a 7-day cooling-off period for a change of mind on non-defective, standard products, starting from the date of delivery.

• The item must be unused, unassembled, and in its original, undamaged packaging.
• You must provide a valid proof of purchase (order number or invoice).

2. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned unless they are found to be manufacturingly defective:

• Custom 3D Prints: Items printed to your specific design or requirements.
• Consumables: Opened filaments, resins, or nozzles.

3. DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS

• Notification: You must email info@deepsouth3dprinting.co.za within 48 hours of delivery regarding any shipping damage or shortages.
• Warranty: Hardware carries a statutory warranty against manufacturing defects. Because 3D printers contain wear-and-tear components, specific warranty periods (e.g., 90 days for fans/sensors) apply. Please refer to Section 6 of our Terms and Conditions for the full warranty breakdown.

4. RETURNS PROCESS

1. Request: Email us first at info@deepsouth3dprinting.co.za.
2. Authorization: If approved, we will provide a return address and reference.
3. Shipping: For "change of mind" returns, the customer is responsible for courier costs. For confirmed defects, we will arrange collection at our expense.

5. REFUNDS & FEES

• Handling Fee: Approved non-defective returns or order cancellations are subject to a 15% re-stocking and administration fee.
• Processing: Refunds take 7 to 10 working days to reflect in your account.
